Daylighting Buried Streams

Many older municipalities have streams that were piped underground decades ago as part of stormwater infrastructure that no longer functions the way it should. ERC has completed daylighting design/build work — removing outdated storm sewer piping and rebuilding a functioning, above-ground stream channel — for municipal parks clients in Ohio.

This kind of project typically improves both stormwater performance and habitat value, and often qualifies for grant funding not available to a standard infrastructure repair.
